Research project „Welfare optimal nominations in gas networks and associated equilibria“ receives DFG-funding
Prof. Dr. Veronika Grimm and Prof. Dr. Gregor Zöttl from the School of Business and Economics and Dr. Lars Schewe und Prof. Dr. Martin Schmidt from the Department of Mathematics receive funding for the project „Welfare optimal nominations in gas networks and associated equilibria“ in the context of the collaborative research center DFG TRR 154 „Mathematical Modelling, Simulation und Optimization using the Example of Gas Networks“. The project focuses on the mathematical modelling of gas networks, buidling on the expertise on the modelling of physical gas flows in mathematics and the expertise in energy market modelling in economics at FAU.
