About
Xiaoyu Zhou is a post-doc at the Chair of Economic Theory in the School of Business Economics and Society, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. As an experimental and behavioural economist, Zhou is interested in using experiments (lab, lab- in-the-field, or field) to explore different topics relevant to economics. So far, he has engaged in four broad lines of research – investigate the historical roots of economic/social preferences, study the impact of markets on economic outcomes, examine how individuals learn in social networks, and try to gain a deeper understanding of cooperative behaviour.
